Memorial for Kacy(KeunAe)'s Father

Friends, it saddens me to share that over the weekend my little cousin, Kacy (Keunae), experienced the sudden, tragic loss of her only parent and Dad, Manseok Choi, in a car accident while he was navigating inclement weather out-of-state. Kacy has no siblings. As you can imagine, she is currently struggling with shock, emotion, and early stages of grief. My Dad and I traveled with Kacy to visit my Uncle's remains and to begin to make arrangements. It was brutal, and quite honestly, it was one of the hardest things any of us has ever had to do.

I wish that I could reverse all of this for Kacy and make everything better as a big cousin is supposed to be able to do. I can't, and that feeling of impotence cuts deep. But I can humbly ask for your assistance to offset what will be impending costs for Kacy to provide a proper Memorial Service and to cover basic living expenses while she adjusts to her new existence. If you can spare anything at this time over the Holiday Season, it is truly appreciated.
