Memorial for Elmer and expenses

  Hi, I am a friend of Marvin and Elmer and I am helping him do this GoFundMe account because he is in the hospital. Marvin lost his mother in December of 2018 and he and his mother were caregivers for Elmer. Elmer was disabled and loved by everyone. He was originally from Jacksonville, IL and lived here in Rockford with his brother Marvin for almost 13 years. He passed away on Good Friday, April 10th, 2020. Before his mother died she paid for some of the funeral expenses and there is still money owed before he can bury his brother.
   Marvin has been battling bladder cancer for the last year. He is currently in the hospital after surgery to remove his bladder. He will be unable to work for several weeks. He has lost his job as caregiver for Elmer and has not been able to apply for Unemployment insurance due to being in the hospital and many government offices closed. Marvin will have expenses for his brother's memorial which the grave is in Jacksonville, IL alongside his mother, once he recovers from this surgery.  He also has rent and utilities to pay with no income or job at this time .
