Memorial for Ed Werderits

Update: The Village has set a date for the Memorial Bench at Central Bark, in Honor of our dear friend, Ed Werderits. Please join us in celebrating his life and love of all animals May 4th at 11 a.m. Our deepest thanks and appreciation for your love, support and donation toward this memorial.

Memorial Bench 

Hello, we recently lost a valuable member of Central Bark and if you were a regular at Central Bark, you knew Ed Werderits.  Ed loved to talk about improvements at the park and one item in particular was to have a bench encircle the large tree in the center of the park.   He enjoyed standing in the shade of the tree during summer and used the tree to shield the wind during the cold months of winter.  Sun, rain, or snow, Ed would be at the park standing underneath the tree exchanging stories or giving wisdom to other members.

This GoFundMe is created to purchase a memorial bench for Ed with an accompanying plaque to honor him for his diligence to keep the park running smoothly.
