Many people are aware of the tragic accident that happened on Saturday afternoon when a cyclist was struck by a car while crossing US1 near 98th street. The beautiful soul that was lost that day was a local woman, Jackie Collins. She was an amazing wife, daughter, friend and the God Mother to my children Shilo and Carter, who she absolutely adored. Jackie was an amazing soul who’s smile was infectious, her love unconditional and a person you could always count on. She is survived by her husband Joe who many of you know from around town and her mother Lee, who’s beautiful face you see working the register at Publix, always with a smiling face. Saying goodbye to the ones we love is something we are never fully prepared for. Jackie’s untimely passing could not have come at a more difficult time. We are collecting funds to help her family with all of the costs and difficulties that come with such an unexpected loss and tragedy. Anything you are able to help with at this time is more than appreciated.
