Memorial Bench for Ms. Donna

At Sandburg Elementary in Madison, WI when you walked into the school, you felt the love and energy of one amazing school secretary. Her name was Ms. Donna Kirschenmann.  Ms. Donna was the most amazing woman I had every met. She never asked for anything from anyone. She gave and gave. I often teased my kids that Ms. Donna lived at the school as she was always there. She attended PTO meetings as often as she could. She was usually one of the helpers to clean up after the PTO events. She was my popcorn making helper, thank you card giver, scoopie night volunteer,  and more importantly, my good friend.

Last April, 2018, Ms. Donna had a stroke, and we lost her. The loss was a lot for many of the staff, parents and students. I would like to have a memorial bench made for her to put in the school garden (yep, the one she helped build.) The bench cost is about $500. Anything extra, and we will buy supplies for the school's food pantry (another cause Ms. Donna helped build.)
