Memorial Bench for Mike Bodle

In honor of Michael J. Bodle (Mike), we would like to dedicate a memorial bench in Mounts Botanical Garden, a place that he loved and enjoyed so much. The bench will serve not only as a fitting tribute to a man with an unwavering, tireless passion for the environment but as a place to take pause and reflect on lives well lived and journeys taken. A dedicated space to share stories, laughter and tears with Michael. To thank him for what he brought into each of our lives and to share with him how empty those lives are now that he is gone. 

This fundraiser will be used to fund the purchase of the bench, a bronze memorial plaque and installation of the bench by Mounts Botanical’s staff. A site for the bench’s placement has yet to be determined by family. Any money that is raised beyond the needs of the purchase and placement of the bench will go towards offsetting the costs for his Celebration of Life.

The Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 1-4:00 PM at Mounts Botanical Garden in Exhibit Hall A.
