Memorial Bench for Hunt

Donation protected

I have never done this so I will begin by telling you a little bit about my big brother, William Hunt Fisher II. Those that knew him loved him and even if you didn't really know him you still loved him. He was one of the most kind hearted lovable people you would ever meet. He was a caring and loving father to Maggie, Will and Sam and an incredible  Peepaw to Jacks.
Yes, he had his faults but who doesn't. He was my first friend and my forever friend and I miss him deeply.  Please hear me when I say this, never ever let a day go by without telling those you love; that you love them, you never know what tomorrow holds.  Life is precious and we need to embrace each day with love and thankfulness.
I have tried to understand how to deal with the loss of my brother but continue to struggle with it everyday but more importantly I worry about our mom and Hunts kids. Hunt and I lost our dad when he was just 57 yrs old but we knew he was sick and knew that each day was special and Hunt was there for our dad each and every day but no one was prepared to lose Hunt, it just happened the Sunday after Thanksgiving 2016. I can not tell you how much I want to take the pain away from my mom and his family. There is a hole in our hearts for Hunt and it can never be filled.
I have been working with the Memphis Botanical Gardens to purchase a memorial bench in memory of Hunt and there is a beautiful Hydrangea Garden, right now it only has one bench and the thought is to add another on the opposite side so that his family and friends along with other people can enjoy the views of this shady garden. This will be a place that our mom, his kids/grandkids, family and friends can go. I feel this is so important to have a special place to go and be able to sit and remember special moments and talk or just reflect. It’s a pretty spot year-round, but early summer when everything is in full bloom the view is stunning. Once the bench is placed we will have a special dedication gathering and this garden also has a beautiful pavilion that will be the perfect spot.
For the bench and dedication we need to raise $5000. to make this dream a reality for Hunts family.  Any amount is a blessing and greatly appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Leila
