Memorial Bench for Greg Bahun

We are raising funds to install a memorial dugout bench in honour of our dear friend and colleague,  Greg Bahun.    Greg passed away in October at the far-too-young age of 38.   He was a larger-than-life presence in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology as a student, colleague, mentor, and friend.    He was also one heck of a softball player, so we feel that a new dugout bench for his teammates is a fitting way to honour his memory.     

We plan to unveil the bench this summer at a memorial game followed by drinks at the Phoenix.  More details on this will be announced via our department's Facebook page closer to the day (we're thinking June 21st...).
