Our father Edward Sheahin passed away from cancer on Sunday September 24, 2023. We were able to bring Dad home from the hospital on Hospice. At home he was visited by all his kids, grandkids, great grandkids and our Mother who never left his side. Dad passed surrounded by loved ones in peace.
Our Father showed us by example how to be a part of our community. From the time we were young with GSA (Gaithersburg Sports Association) until after he retired and he worked for the City of Gaithersburg. Dad always greeted everyone with a big welcoming smile on his face and went above and beyond to help everyone. We would love to put a memorial bench at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg where he worked so we will be able to come and remember him.
We are asking in lieu of flowers a donation could be made in order to pay for the bench and plaque. We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
