Recently we suddenly lost Alan to a haemorrhage stroke. We are all in so much shock and it still seems so unreal that he is no longer with us. While we understand many will want to send flowers and pay their respects, I would like people to consider helping us to get Alan a memorial bench at his favourite spot at One Tree Hill.

This is a place he loved and visited daily with his beloved dogs Jasper and Paddy. We feel that money would be better spent getting him this special memorial bench that will last for years and years for all to visit rather than flowers that will be destroyed the same day as they are no longer allowed to be donated.

Alan you were a very special man and will be so greatly missed by so many life really will never be the same again.
