<div>On April 28, 2025, Melvin Crump, was riding his scooter home from work when he was the victim of a hit and run.  The details surrounding the incident are still unclear, but the impact left Melvin with multiple skull fractures and life-threatening brain bleeds.

<div>Doctors performed an emergency craniectomy, removing one-third of his skull to relieve pressure on his brain. He is currently in the ICU in a medically induced coma, fighting for his life. He is surrounded by loved ones praying for a miracle.

<div>Melvin is a kind, hardworking man, an incredible husband, a devoted father, and a rock for his family. This tragedy has turned their world upside down, emotionally and financially.
