Melvine Funeral Services
Donation protected
Our family has been in a nightmare since 9:50 am November 17th when my mom, Melvine, was rushed to the hospital due to Covid complications. Our mom fought a good fight for 3 weeks on a ventilator, but she was called by God to come home on December 8th 2020 at 3:56 am.
Melvine was full of life and loved her family so much, she would do anything for us. She was called upon many times and without question she was there for us. Her heart extended past her loved ones, if anyone else needed anything, if she could you had and if she couldn't, she would pray for you. Along with her dedication, if you ever needed a good laugh, she was the person to go to.
Our family has been devastated and in disbelief. To add salt to our wounds, when we called her life insurance plan, they just informed me she would have had the insurance for 2 years before death to collect her full benefits. This news is very disappointing because my mother tried to make sure that her loved ones wouldn't have to absorb the high cost of a funeral, but here we are.
If you have it in your heart, we ask if you could donate something to my mom's funeral services.
