Melody Mohebbi is our head Athletic Trainer and she also teaches Kinesiology classes. She is one of the most generous people I know. She’s been working at SJB for almost 10 years and is the heartbeat of St. John Bosco. There isn’t one athlete that she has not had a “hands- on” approach to. When you see her on the field- doesn’t matter if it is the football field, soccer field, or gymnasium etc., she is there for every student. She is there practically 24-7. During school, many students go to her even when it is not an athletic question. She helps so many on a day to day basis.
Today she needs our help!
Her work visa was not sent in a timely manner, which was not her fault. Because of this Melody is now forced to leave America which she truly loves and calls home. Melody’s loss is our loss as well.
On top of all this she will now have to deal with getting a VISA reinstated. I want her to know she is not alone. When I think of all the athletes, parents, co-workers that she had interacted over the years I know that everyone will want to help out. There are attorney fees that she has to pay, not to mention all the everyday living expenses that she will have to endure.
Don Bosco, our founder was always at the forefront of the disenfranchised and now Melody is at those crossroads.
I will start with the first donation of $50 to start off with more to follow. I ask of you, Bosco family or friend, to dig deep into your heart and wallet and donate as well. Any amount will be received with love and appreciation.
