Melodiis hospital fund

  Sweet sweet little Melodii, this little girl has gone through so much in the short 7 months she’s been living.  She was born in Las Vegas, NV at 25 weeks gestation to parents Isaac and Sarah Fortson weighing 1lb 7oz with a plethora of medical issues including heart defects, lung abnormality, retinopathy of prematurity, and so on. She was immediately placed in the NICU with her twin sister and put on life support. She stayed in the NICU for 4 months and has only been home for about 2 and a half months.
   She was recently hospitalized due to being incoherent and unresponsive when her mother went to pick her up to feed her. At first, they thought it was an infection or that she just had metabolic issues. After further testing, she was tested positive for RSV, metabolic issues, seizures and a failing liver. Due to the severity the doctors thought it was in the best interest of Melodii to be flight lifted to a children’s hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Where they have specialists and resources that the hospitals in Nevada don’t have. Upon arrival to the hospital in Utah, Melodii’s parents were informed that not only did she have constant seizures but now she’s showing signs of brain damage. The severity and causes of this are still unknown. 

 This page is here to ask for help for not only assistance with hospital bills but also assistance for her parents who had to follow  Melodii and had to pay the traveling expenses out of their own pockets. Anything is helpful. Whether it’s $5 or $100 anything at this point would be a huge help and would be highly appreciated.
