Mellow needs MRI and likely surgery, recuperation

Help! My name is Ken Volk. My 6-year old female Siberian Husky, Mellow, had a bad accident and apparently has a slipped disk. Her right rear leg is completely disabled, and the left rear leg functions, but not well. It happened New Year’s Eve, mid-day. She was leashed in the front yard and became tangled when running to greet a bypassing dog. I took her to the emergency vet, but x-ray testing was inconclusive. She immediately needs an MRI, and then surgery if warranted. I am told that the longer this is delayed the worse the recovery prospects. This could cost up to $20K plus rehabilitation. I cannot afford that. She is on temporary pain and anti-inflammatory medications, and generally in good spirits but pain is starting to recur. It remains to be seen if she can voluntarily pee. She is a lovely spirit, friendly Sagittarius, born in my bedroom, and her mother and she loved to pull me on the bicycle for their exercise, like a sled dog setup. She is eating and drinking, and wants to live. Her mother, Harajuku, is healthy and would miss Mellow terribly. Even if Mellow were never to walk again I would be happy to use a doggy wheelchair, which could be a decent rest of her life. If I cannot get help she may have to be put down.
