Melissa's Student Mission - Kosrae

Praise the Lord! I get the opportunity to be a student missionary this year on the Micronesian island of Kosrae for 10 months! I'm going to be a 1st and 2nd grade teacher (among other things) and I couldn't be more excited! However, plane tickets to the other side of the world aren't very cheap, and at estime, a one-way ticket will cost my family about $2,000. On top of that, I want to take as many supplies and materials I can to help the school. SO, just to break it down, the $5,000 I'm trying to raise will be split into:

$4,000 for plane tickets, checked bags, and other travel expenses
$1,000 for the purchase of materials and the cost of shipping them to the island

God will provide, of that I'm confident, but I would love for you to be part of God's mission as well. None of this will go to myself as spending money for clothes or souveniers or anything like that--just travel and supplies. I would be so so so grateful if you could help out!
