THANKS TO YOU, I'M ON MY WAY!

As many of you may know by now my student visa FINALLY CAME!!! This means I am officially able to travel to the UK to begin my graduate program! Words fail to completely express how truly grateful I am for all the love, support, prayers and donations that have helped me to get to this point.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I seriously can't say it enough. I'm so overwhelmed by God's goodness and His provision in this process and the amazing people He's placed in my life that have kept me sane these past four years and especially these last several weeks.

This road has not been an easy one. I have faced painful set backs, including in 2016 when I was accepted at one prestigious program, but was unable to attend due to financial difficulties. I pressed forward and received acceptance into the MA Producing Film and Television program at Royal Holloway in London in 2018. I chose to defer my acceptance as God's timing led me to stay put a little longer. Though at times I can't pretend to understand His timing, I'm so thankful for the lessons He's taught me during this season. The time spent with my mother before she passed and the care I've been able to show my little/big sister Linsay is irreplaceable to me. Now I am still following His leadership as I finally take up my place in London.

So many of you have kept in touch and connected with me over these trying years and encouraged me to keep going.  I will be forever grateful to you for your support.

As I pack and prepare for my journey abroad I ask first, for your continued prayers for me during travel, transition and study -- and that God's provision will continue to go with me and I would be obedient to His leadership even when I don't understand it. Pray for my family, as Linsay moves into a group home. I love you all, but I think I will miss her the most. Keep my Linsay in your prayers. I know that God has her in His hands. Also pray for my dad as he adjusts to life further away from his little girl.

I also ask for your financial assistance in this momentous transition. I have secured full financial aid for the cost of attendance, however  there is a gap between my move and receipt of my first financial aid disbursement. Your donations will help me with transportation from the airport to my new home for the next year, a transit card to get to my appointments in the first two weeks, the software I need to study on a professional level, an adaptor for the wired UK outlets, and a new phone so I can keep in touch will my family and friends. I could also use a new umbrella! :) No donation is too small and all are greatly appreciated!!

Once I am settled I will be sharing my contact information and hope to hear from all of you very soon!

Thank you, again! This really is a dream come true and I look forward to sharing my story with you all as it continues.

Warm regards,
