International Internship

Dear friends! 

I am so excited to announce that Liberty University has accepted me to go on an international internship to        Portugal! This is my first time crossing the ocean and I couldn't be more scared and excited for it. I am a Psychology major and my concentration is in Christian Counseling. This trip is focused on drug and alcohol abuse.
We will be learning the affects of these drugs in Lisbon and having service opportunities in drug and alcohol recovery.

I am currently due to graduate in the Fall of 2018 with my Bachelors's in Christian Counseling, and I am currently on the Dean's list, a member of the Liberty Online Honor's Society, awaiting my membership acceptance to the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors)and have been maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I also volunteer weekly with my local Comfort Care women's health clinic, where we empower women to make healthy and educated choices concerning their pregnancy. 

In graduate school, I will be getting my master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Though drug and alcohol abuse and recovery will not be my specific focus, many people who are undergoing marriage and family issues will also be experiencing struggle in addictive lifestyles as well. 

As well as the educational endeavor of this, my team will also be doing some exploring in Portugal, which I couldn't be more elated for!Any amount you can give will be tremendously beneficial.

The first $200 installment is due the end of this week (February 10th.) I know it's short notice, but my approval has just come through today!

The second installment is $1,115 and is due February 15th. This is also a short period, so please spread the word! My third installment, for the same amount, is due March 15th. The last will be due April 15th, and cost $1,120.
