Fire Relief for Melissa & Isabella

On Friday March 23rd, an attic fire started at the Spencerport residence of Melissa and Isabella Sciortino. The electric running through the attic caused the fire and severe damage was done to the second story of their home.  As many of you know this was a new home and new start for Melissa and Izzy, and now they are forced to find alternative living and re-build a space that they just made their own.  Thank God someone was watching over Melissa and Isabella that day, because thankfully they were not inside the house that morning.  Due to the timing of the fire, Melissa and Isabella could have been sleeping and the already horrible outcome could have been MUCH worse.  We are so thankful that Melissa and Isabella are safe. It is now time to help them regain normalcy and re-build.

As we all know Melissa is a fighter, and it does not matter how many times she gets knocked down...she will ALWAYS get back up.  Melissa has kept this fighting spirit through everything life has dealt her, no matter how bad the circumstances get.  Most of you know that she recently finished another round of radiation in hopes of destroying all of the cancer cells remaining in her body.  This treatment was the week before the fire.  The last thing Melissa needs is stress while she is fighting for her body to heal.  Melissa and Isabella are so undeserving of these circumstances.  Melissa would whole heartedly give you the shirt off her back, and has put her all into raising Isabella to be the fun loving, caring, and kind child that she is every single day.  We saw Melissa on the day she found out about the fire as well as the day after and it is never a "poor me", she greets the world everyday with an open heart and a smile on her face.

Everyone has been asking what can they do to help and finally after much convincing Melissa has agreed to let us create this for her .  Let us all help give Melissa and Isabella the fresh start they are most deserving of.
