<div>Hi I am Amy Mahar and I am fundraising for my older sister, Melissa Mahar who has just been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

<div>On 25 September 2023, my sister collapsed at the hospital and they thought she took a stroke. She lost feelings in her legs and she could not walk. To add to the stress her partner lost his father the following day and his mother a couple months prior.

<div>She has a young family, Emily and Gage (who has

<div>disabilities) and a caring partner Derek to provide for. She has been put off work for at least 6 months, possibly longer and she needs our help. Going from two incomes to one will not only place a financial burden on her and the family but the added stress will only exasperate her condition.
