Melissa Fight Against Cancer

Hi my name is Melissa Gutierrez I’m 35 and a mother of 7 amazing kids .
Ages 17,16,14,11,9,4 and 1

On Sep 12th I found a lump on my left breast
and thanks to my mom for making me go to
the hospital I went and they said it looked like a cancer mass that I needed to go to the Ross
Breast Center ASAP 
On Sep 21st I had a mammogram and
ultrasound done hoping for good results .
when the doctor came in he also said it looked like a cancer mass and that it looked very
alarming and I was with my mom and we just
broke down.
On Sep 25th I had a biopsy to confirm what
the doctors were seeing and was a nervous
wreck I couldn’t sleep all we could do was
pray for positive results
Sep 29th Was the worst day of my life the
doctor called to confirm and  diagnosed me
with Triple Negative Breast Cancer a cancer
that’s aggressive and spreads fast that I
needed to go through chemo, surgery and
radiation. I was shocked, scared at lost for
words and just remember
thinking why? Why me?
I don’t have insurance so I was approved for a grant that paid my Biopsy which was a
blessing from God because I couldn’t afford it.
Now starts my journey to fight this cancer
and fight hard for my kids, family and friends
All donations are going to my kids and
household because I’ll be taking couple
months off of work and unfortunately I don’t
get paid for it. With  no help from my other
half it’s really going to be hard for me I just
wanna be able to stay afloat I don’t want to fail my kids.

I need to keep my head up stay positive and
active because I am strong and I can’t let
it beat me I Will beat it
