Give My Sister a Proper Funeral

This is hard to share, but it's the only thing I can do to help my family. Out of 5 children my mother had, we unfortunately found out earlier this morning on July 4th, 2017 that my sister, Melinda Garcia Fullwood, was taken away from us.

With the many troubles she's faced in her life that I'd rather not mention in full, her biggest challenge was attempting to gain custody of at least 2 of the 3 beautiful children she had under the ages of 10 years old: Devin, Deija and Jedi. She was attempting to start a new life without her husband (her and her family currently living in Hong Kong for a couple of years). She was only 2 weeks away from finally being able to start a new chapter in her life and move back to Miami where our immediate family resides. Now we're left with nothing but grief.

She was only 30 years old. Still trying to figure out what exactly happened, we're making every attempt to be strong for one another, especially my mother and grandmother who raised her together with my dad. The only thing she ever wanted was to come back home with her kids. Since we can't make that a reality anymore, the least we can do is find a way to bring her back to the states from Hong Kong.

My parents and all of us are doing what we can financially to make this happen, but it's not easy due to the circumstances. If anyone can reach out in any way, words could not weigh the level of gratitude we would have. I spoke to my father and we're estimating about $10,000 to help bring my sister back to the US and afford to provide her a proper funeral.
