Melia's Fight

Born at just 26 weeks, 14 inches long and weighing in at a whopping 2 pounds 10 ounces, my mom defied a lot of odds back in 1957!  She was a miralce they said!  60 years later, we are counting on her showing the world she is once again a miracle! 

Thank you to everyone who has private messaged me asking for updates on my mom.  It means the world to me & my mom that you have taken the time out of your busy lives to ask how she is doing & to let us know you are praying for her!  As many of you know, my mom, my best friend, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic and liver cancer.  Many of you have asked how she is doing and the answer is not good....She is in constant pain, barely making it through her work days.  The Dilaudid she was put on is not touching the pain at all & is only making her sick to her stomach.  The pain seems to be getting worse by the day.

My mom has chosen an alternative treatment for now becuase she wants quality over quanity of life and feels this is the best option for her.  Unfortunatley, this treatment is not covered by insurance.  I am asking for help on my mom's behalf!  We want to at least TRY this treatment option,  to see if it works.  If it doesn't, then she will rethink chemo but for right now, please help if you're able to so she can give this a fair shot.  ANY donation will help.  If you find it in your heart to add one more person to your Christmas list, please let it be my mom.  Please, I'm begging you!
