I’m Ola and I’m running the Lente Half Marathon in March to raise money for Melez Dog Rescue in Turkey. Melez rescues street dogs that would otherwise be left without food, without vet care and without a safe place to sleep. They give these dogs the basics most of us take for granted and then help them find loving homes in Europe and beyond.

This cause matters to me deeply because I’ve seen what Melez does up close. A close friend of mine fostered one of their pups and watching that dog go from scared street dog to adored family member was honestly life changing. It reminded me how lucky dogs are when someone chooses them and how much harder life is for dogs who don’t have that chance.

Every euro you donate here goes straight to Melez to help pay for vet care, food, shelter and the work it takes to get these dogs safe, healthy and ready for adoption. Melez does amazing work with limited resources and your support means they can help more dogs, sooner.
