We are raising money to help fund funeral expenses for the late Melecio Pat Salazar Jr. who passed away on Monday, November 09, 2020. Pat Salazar was a retired Chief of Police Officer and is well known for his services and dedication to Acoma Police, Mckinley County Sheriff's Department, Gallup Police Department, and Milan Police Department. Pat Salazar was a life long resident of San Rafeal, NM.
Pat is survived by his mother Priscilla Salazar, wife Amber Salazar, and his children Kandra Blea, Ryan Salazar, Joshua Salazar, Lyric Salazar and Amora Salazar.
Pat is proceeded in death by his father Melecio Salazar Sr. and his brother Patrick Salazar.
Pat was a devoted, husband, father and son. Pat enjoyed cooking, singing, helping family and friends, and love to converse with people. Pat loved to travel and spend time with his family. Pat was a problem solver and enjoyed fixing things. Pat was intituive and took on tasks with certainty of mastering the problems. Pat was avid about his entrepreneurship in business.
We will miss Pat very much, he meant so much to so many people. He always made a person feel acknowledged and valued. He had a caring nature and always wanted the best for his family, friends and the communities he served.
