Melea's Life Fund

My name is Shelley Stayton and I never thought I would start a Go Fund me account but here I am. I have known Melea Sherman since 6th grade and we have had some great times and some crazy times together but now she is in the fight of her life. Melea is in need of help and support.  She has had a rough couple of years and has lost alot. Just months ago she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, that is also in her lymph nodes. She had a double mastectomy and while recovering became very ill and was rushed to ER where she stayed in ICU for days and while there it was discovered that she has 7 brain tumors.  In true Melea style , she is still fighting. She refuses to give up.  She is living with a friend's mother and this friend, Angie, is the one  taking Melea to all doctor's appointments and is helping her out as needed. I am asking for help for Melea and Angie. Anything will help. What will we do with the money ? It will pay for her day to day needs, it will pay for any medical bills that insurance won't cover, Anything left over will go to her 18 year old son to help him go to college. If any of you know Melea then you know she is private and proud. We are not telling her about this yet, she has so much to think about.
