I just moved to a brand new state after getting married, far away from family and friends. A week into our marriage I was diagnosed with Lymphoma. I had plans to start looking for a job about a month after moving here and settling in. Unfortunately, at this time, because of the cancer diagnosis I received and the treatment's unknown side effects, I'm unable to find a job. Being that we are a newlywed couple, we are living on a tight budget, especially now with only one income and a tough journey ahead.

In addition, we have decided to undergo fertility preservation in hopes to one day have children, without the worry of infertility or complications after chemotherapy. The total cost of fertility preservation is just over $10,000. Normally, the overall procedure would be roughly $20,000 but thankfully, the Jones Institute gives a discount to cancer patients.
