Melanie Lee Burial Costs

Early this week we lost Melanie Lee, beloved wife, mother, and grandma. Her last 10 years have been full of physical trials, including uterine cancer, seizures, strokes, falls, along with stage 3 kidney disease and a host of other issues. She has valiantly fought every disease and won. Over the course of these last 10 years, she and her devoted husband, Don, had to put every penny they had, including their life insurance policies, toward her medical bills from her cancer treatments. This has left Don with very little to put toward her final resting costs.

The last disease that Melanie had, which started out as a common virus, led to septic shock, further kidney disease, pnuemonia, more strokes, and ended in her death. Her bereaved family, while comforted that she is now pain-free and in the arms of her Heavenly Father,  has a financial burden to bear in paying for her final expenses.

If you know Melanie and Don, you know that they wore out their lives in the service of others. They have opened up their home countless times to those who needed a family-- no questions asked. They have fed and funded many people over the years and offered their time and talents unreservedly to their children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors, church, the Lion's Club, and the Boy Scouts of America.
