Mel & Jo’s walkathon

As many of you will know, myself & Mel were tragically widowed in 2018....within 2 months of each other. Over the past 2 years we have become very close and we really do just ‘get each other’. . We have decided to do something to raise a bit of money for 2 charities very close to our hearts. Firstly for the Douglas Macmillan hospice. This charity means so much to Mel & her family for the tireless work they do to care for and support families during the worst times of their lives...they really are worth their weight in gold. The other charity is the Midlands Air ambulance...a charity very close to my heart and a painful reminder of our tragic loss. Both these charities rely a great deal on donations & fundraising and we would love to give something back for  the amazing work they do.

We have decided to do a March walkathon....we will be walking 5km every single day in March. (And anyone who knows me, knows I don’t do walking ) We both work 5 days a week and also have families to take care of but we are determined we can do this. We appreciate any donations however small to give back a little something to 2 fantastic charities . Thankyou....from the bottom of our hearts.
