Mekale's Hurricane Harvey Fund

My sister, LaTeasha (Tish) Hamilton, and I are raising money to help our sister Mekale Hamilton.  After saving for years, Mekale was able to purchase her first home in Spring, Texas, in May, only to have it flooded during Hurricane Harvey.  Mekale is a caring, hard working single mother who has raised our niece Masiyah with very little financial assistance.  Harvey flooded Mekale's house with 4 feet of water, destroying her furniture, appliances, and all of her and Masiyah's clothing and personal belongings.  They evacuated with only the clothes on their backs.  Even Mekale's car was destroyed.  We are fundraising to help Mekale with food, clothes, and bills, and to help Masiyah with clothes and school supplies so that she can continue her senior year in high school.    

Tish and I are among the fortunate Houston residents whose homes did not flood, and we send prayers to others in our sister's situation.  We truly appreciate any and all donations to help Mekale recover from this devasting hurricane.
