<div>und an alle die mich nicht kennen: ich bin Gretchen, 21, und bin im September 2024 für ein Jahr nach Bolivien gereist, um in einem Heim für minderjährige Mütter und einem Projekt für Straßenkinder in La Paz zu arbeiten. Jetzt werde ich Hebammenwissenschaften in Halle studieren.

<div>In dem Video erzähle ich mehr von meiner Arbeit und zeige Fotos aus dem Jahr.

<div>WARUM SPENDEN?
</div>
<div>Wie die meisten habe ich unglaublich stark von diesem Jahr profitiert und werde noch lange von der Erfahrung zehren. Deshalb hoffe ich, dass das Angebot noch lange bestehen bleibt. Mir ist bewusst, dass deutsche Freiwillige nicht unbedingt die hilfebedürftigste Gruppe sind. Die erbrachten Spenden sind jedoch für das Deutsche Rote Kreuz notwendig, um das Freiwilligenprogramm und die Einsatzstellen im Ausland am Leben zu erhalten. Direkter Profiteur ist auch die Empfängerorganisation im Ausland. In meinem Fall ist das die „Fundación Arco Iris“.

<div>Die Refinanzierung einer Freiwilligenstelle kostet je nach Projekt 2000- 3000 €. Ich halte den Freiwilligendienst und auch die Projekte im Ausland für sehr sinnvoll und unterstützenswert.
</div>
<div>Trotz bestehender und sicherlich auch gerechtfertigter Kritik am Freiwilligendienst im Ausland profitieren in meinen Augen neben den Freiwilligen auch die Einsatzstellen sehr von dem Programm.
</div>
<div>Wenn dich mein Spendenaufruf grundsätzlich zum Spenden angestoßen hat, du dein Geld aber lieber an ein dir näheres Projekt senden möchtest, sehe ich das aber auch als Gewinn.
