On the evening of August 16, 2018, Karl was rushed to the ER and it was determined that he had suffered a stroke. He has since had 2 procedures to remove 2 separate blood clots, as well as to stop a brain bleed. Karl has been in Neuro ICU since Friday, August 17 and is being monitored daily. While Karl has shown remarkable and miraculous progress, it is still a very long road to full recovery for him.
Karl takes amazing care of his wife Fiorella, and their two boys, Maddox and Marshall. We have created this YouCaring/GoFundMe page so that all of us, near and far, can help Karl continue to take care of his amazing family while he works on his recovery.
