<div>Der Kopernikusspielplatz in der Schwetzingerstadt in Mannheim wird aufgrund seiner Lage von allen Altersgruppen gerne und ausgiebig genutzt. Jedoch ist er ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und die Ausstattung weist deutliche Verschleißspuren auf. Nun soll aus dem Kopernikusspielplatz ein moderner Park werden, der alle Generationen zum Austoben und Verweilen einlädt.

<div>Für die Verwirklichung des Mehrgenerationenparks besteht eine Finanzierungslücke von rund 50.000 Euro. Als Bürgerinitiative* Kopernikusplatz möchten wir diese Lücke schließen und bitten euch um eure Unterstützung.

<div>Die rege Bürgerbeteiligung während des Planungsprozesses hat gezeigt, dass der Park sehr vielen Menschen aller Altersgruppen am Herzen liegt. Die Bedürfnisse verschiedener Bevölkerungsgruppen sowie zahlreiche Ideen und Vorschläge wurden bei den Aktionstagen vor Ort aufgenommen.

<div>Diese Ideen sind in die Planungen mit eingeflossen, können aber aufgrund des begrenzten Haushalts der Stadt Mannheim nicht finanziert werden.
