Meg's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On Tuesday June 6, 2017, our dear friend Meg was at recess with her second grade class when she collapsed and suffered a stroke.

Meg was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where she spent over a week in the ICU. It was discovered that Meg had a clot in her left carotid artery.

Once it was determined Meg was on the mend, she was transferred to Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Charlestown, where she is spending several weeks working on physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Meg continues to reside at one of the best rehabilitation facilities in the country, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, and is continuing to receive the best care available.

If you know Meg, you know how brightly she shines. Passionate, kind, and hilarious; Meg is one of the most incredible people I know. She is an amazing teacher, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend.

She is fun-loving, strong, and always the life of the party. Meg would give anyone the shirt off of her back if it would help them, but now it's time to help her.

Please donate whatever you can; every little bit helps. We want to make sure Meg can focus all of her energy on getting better, rather than having to wonder how she'll pay for her care.
