Meghan’s Tumor Removal

As some of you know I have a fibroid tumor attached to my uterus. It is growing and has caused me severe pain for 3 months now. I do have an insurance policy, but only for doctors visits and medications; I simply couldn’t afford a more comprehensive policy that would include medical procedures and hospital stays.
Because the tumor is so large I will have to undergo an “open me up and let’s see what else is hiding behind the tumor ” operation. This is major surgery ( C-section) . After my release from the hospital, I will not be able to return to work for at least for 4-6 weeks.
 I am only asking for help with the required down payment for the surgeon, which is $1,800. I will be paying off the rest of these medical bills for years but if you could help me with a donation for this expense, I would be eternally grateful. 
It is hard having to ask the kindness of friends and strangers to help pay for my operation and living expenses while I recuperate afterwards. If there was any other ways to deal with the cost of my medical care, believe me, I would have found them. The fact is, basic health care in America is expensive;serious health care issues can quickly overwhelm the most frugal of families.
