Meghan's Save The Job Fund
Meghan recently uprooted her family for a job in another state. She had to take all her money out of her savings for this move and now is tapped out, as are all those who helped her financially to acheive the move in the first place.
Now suddenly the job tells her she cannot live across state lines to work at this particular job. She lives right on the state line of Idaho and Oregon, on the Oregon side.
They never told her any of this information to start with and it is not in any of the paperwork for the job, but legal department says it's against the airlines policy and the laws. And she has no money to move either back to her home state, or move to the state that she needs to live in for this job.
Her fellow employee has a house for her to rent but cannot afford to give it to her without the required deposit and first months rent. Meghan does not have the money to move, and everyone she borrowed from for the move are tapped out. She needs first months rent, deposit, moving truck across state lines which is over $500.00. The rent and deposit are both $950.00 making it $1900.00 All the deposits for electricity gas and water are needed, as well as food money, and gas for the vehicles. Deposit for internet and phone since she needs both to perform her job from home.
Meghans husband Ted 4 years ago had several strokes in one day, and is now disabled so he cannot work and his family does not have the money to help either. Meghan is a wreck about all of this, due to the fact that herself and her disabled husband and two daughters, aged 7 and 5 will be out on the street in a foreign state, with no family or friends to speak of within a month if she cannot keep her job.
