Meggie's long road ahead

Donation protected
Friday evening,  my cousin Megan was rushed by ambulance to the hospital . After doing a CT scan ,the doctors said that megan just had a really bad migraine and that she could go home . Meanwhile Meg's condition worsened. Her speech was slurred and she had some weakness is her arm and leg. My uncle demanded an MRI ! Many hours later ,they finally did. They soon realized that megan indeed had a stroke and she was becoming more and more unresponsive as the hours passed by. They then transferred her to UMMC where they had to intubate her and do emergency brain surgery to relieve some of the pressure from her brain. Meg has had some progress since the surgery but we still dont know the full extent of the damage. Let me just say that no one should ever have to see someone they love go through something like this. . Its heartbreaking and not fair that my beautiful, smart, 25 year old cousin is going through this nightmare! I truly believe that she will make a full recovery and be stronger than ever when this is all said and done. I am reaching out to all of our family and friends to help my aunt marcy mclenithan and uncle john McLenithan with the cost of her medical bills,  rehabilitation, and other expenses they will have. I know meg has a long road ahead.  I have no doubt in my mind that she will get through this. Every little bit helps and I ask for everyone to keep praying for her. God is good and I know he is listening.
