Blessings! Thank you for showing interest in helping me take advantage of an opportunity for discipleship training through Youth with a Mission (YWAM) organization. YWAM offers me intense training and prepares me for full-time ministry. The training is a six-month focused program that entrenches the gospel, develops my leadership, praise and worship competencies, and then sends me out to the mission field to make “God Known” to the world.
Coming to a decision to go to the mission field and follow after God’s plan has been a journey. The last two years my affection for Jesus has burst forth with a passion to win the lost and abandon myself to the call on my life. It has not always been this way.
There has been an internal battle against my flesh to pursue my own agenda and career, which led me to register at the University of Texas in San Antonio, to pursue a degree as a linguist and then join the Air Force as an officer. My family has always been associated with the military, so I found it to be a good track to get me where I want to be. After a year of pursuing my own agenda, the Holy Spirit gripped my heart and began to speak to me. God was calling me to something much bigger than the military. He was enlisting me in the Army of the Lord, to expand and reveal the Kingdom of our God.
I since made up my mind to charge after the call of Jesus to make disciples. In the pursuit to follow my own agenda I made sure I was “ALL IN.” I’m convinced that God want’s nothing less of me. I have completely surrendered myself to the cross and to the heart of my Heavenly Father. I’m “ALL IN.”
My goal is $6,000, which I need to reach by August 31st, 2018. Sounds like much, I know, but nothing is too big for our God. This covers training, incidentals, and the mission to a 3rd world country where the gospel has not been preached. I so appreciate every gift—I believe without a shadow of a doubt that my God will supply the need. If you are led by the Holy Spirit to give, thank you for being obedient. If God is not leading you in this direction, I covet your prayers.

Mathew 28:18-20 Jesus tells his disciples, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age”.
