Megan on her journey back to health
Donation protected
Megan has been sick since getting mono in January 2021. She has been in the hospital on and off for a total of 20 weeks. Her and her family have been in the hospital for most of June because her blood sugar was unstable. Because she is so unstable she has had to be transported by EMS. On Memorial Day EMS brought her to Gainesville and they transported her back to Scottish Rite to their ICU. The bill for the transfer alone came in at $4,000. She has now been in the ICU at Scottish Rite since the 3rd. They have diagnosed her with MALS and she will need surgery. This is a long road to healing. Right now her belly doesn’t work, she has to be catheterized to pee and she is dropping insulin. Once she has the surgery she will be in the hospital for another week. The doctors advised megans parents that TPN is ridiculously expensive. Any donation would help immensely let’s keep Megan and her family in our prayers.
