Medical Expenses help for Megan

Donation protected
The morning of October 22, 2017 while running errands, Megan began complaining of a severe headache and not feeling well. Thanks to her loving husband Jason's quick thinking and medical knowledge, he rushed her to the emergency room where she was then air transported to Las Vegas. Megan suffered a brain aneurysm and AVM; Arteriovenous Malformation which is an abnormal connection between the arteries and veins, usually in the brain or spine most likely formed before birth.

The attending neurosurgeon performed emergency surgery on Megan where they had to go in on both the right and the left sides of her skull resulting in her losing her hair as well. She is now in critical condition under heavy sedation where she is fighting for her life. The surgeon is optimistic, however, states it is soon to tell how long her road to recovery will be or what her condition will be once they lift the sedation. There is no timeframe and the family was told the hospital stay on average for a situation like this is no less than 30 days if not more depending on the patient. But if you know Megan, then you know that she is a fighter!

Megan and Jason recently moved to Kingman, Arizona where they share a home with their furbabies. She is only 31 years old and full of life. Megan is a hard-working and dedicated hospice nurse who loves her patients. After years of work in the med-surg field, Megan decided to take her endless compassion for others into the hospice field. You can typically find Megan in the kitchen whipping up new recipes, spending time with her niece, Seanna, knitting homemade sentiments for her loved ones, or trying her hand at canvas paintings where she has grown in talent as well. Megan looks for the best in everyone around her and in this world of technology, from Megan, one can still expect a handwritten card, an old-fashioned phone call, or even homemade soup at your doorstep when you're sick.

Due to the overwhelming medical expenses that are expected to incur, and with both Megan and Jason missing work due to the circumstances at hand, the family is asking for any help during this difficult time as this was completely unexpected. Thank you!
