MUSTANG PRIDE!
Dr. Armand Pires, Medway school superintendent has just informed me that the school committee has approved the Rearing Mustang project for MHS. For those who are not familiar with the history of this project....it's been a longtime dream of Mr. William R. Phipps, AKA "The Mustang Mentor", a former, longtime teacher, coach and Athletic Director of MHS, to recognize the students and athletes of Medway High School with a model of their beloved mascot to be placed permanently at the Medway High School. This beautiful, majestic, statue stands 9 ft tall and is made of metal. Bill was originally unaware that a move to bring this project to fruition was underway, until Dr. Pires called him with the happy news.
At this time, this very worthwhile project is in need of donations. Any amount you can donate is acceptable and very much appreciated. An account has been opened at
