<div>Chucky ist sieben und lebt seit kurzem bei Steffi. Vorher war er bei einer Familie, die ihn mehr als Statussymbol als Familienmitglied gesehen hat. Kaum Bewegung, oft viele Stunden allein. Es gab deutliche Anzeichen, dass es ihm gesundheitlich nicht gut geht. Trotzdem wurde keine gründliche Abklärung veranlasst. Bei der Abgabe an den Tierschutz wurde darüber nichts gesagt.

<div>Bei Steffi wurde alles neu untersucht. Ein CT, das sie selbst bezahlt hat, zeigt Spondylose an der Wirbelsäule und Arthrose in allen Gelenken. Chucky hat anhaltende Schmerzen. Seine Ellenbogen sind aktuell so belastet, dass Physiotherapie noch nicht geht. Erst müssen Schmerzen und Entzündung dort runter. Vor kurzem hatte er zudem einen ungeplanten medizinischen Notfall mit zusätzlichen Kosten.

<div>Ich bin Marlene. Ich organisiere diese Sammlung, damit Steffi die Behandlung stemmen kann. Steffi ist Rentnerin. Jeden Monat fallen etwa 250 Euro nur für Spritzen und Medikamente an. Dazu kommen Kontrollen und öfter mal ungeplante medizinische Notfälle. Eine Versicherung nimmt Chucky in diesem Zustand nicht mehr. Steffi trägt die Kosten allein. Dafür bitten wir um Hilfe.
