Medicines for Samos

I am trying to raise 1500 euros to buy medicines and other medical materials to help the refugees on Samos.

I'm on Samos for a year now, volunteering as an aid worker and a teacher with different NGO's. Now I'm working with a doctor, who, together with his team, is providing the medical and psychosocial care in the refugee camp. 

Because we are running out of medicines, we are trying to raise money for this. For now we are trying to raise money to be able to buy medicines until March 2018. We estimated that we need around 500 Euros each month to make sure we can buy the medicines and other materials we need.

The plan is to raise 1500 Euros, so we will be able to buy medicines until at least March 2018. We will put the money on an account of the pharmacy, so we can use it to buy all the stuff we need.

For now we're running out of these medicines and materials (we already ran out of some of them):

Insulin:
1. long acting
2. short acting

Diclofenac (e.g. voltaren) —> strong NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
1. IM
2. tabs
3. cream

Muscuril —> muscle relaxant
1. IM
2. tabs

Augmentin (amoxicillin/clavulanic)

Tablets for sore throat (e.g. strepsils)

Syrop for sore throat/coughing —> for kids and adults

Ear drops (we are completely out this)

Aerolin (self inhalation)


Other materials we need:

Gloves

Elastic bandages

Gauze
