Medicine and Housing

My name is Nick. My fiancee, Shailla, is a  type 1 diabetic, which means she was born with the condition and she depends on insulin to regulate her blood sugar, every day. Growing up, her mom's insurance covered the insulin she needed, but that policy expired when Shailla turned 18. For the past three years, she's been relying on the meager healthcare benefits she can get from her job, but now those policies have removed coverage for insulin, so we're having to pay out of pocket for her medicine, which is unmanageably expensive. On top of that, since her parents kicked her out, we've been living with my mother in a house that will most likely be lost in her divorce by the summer. Even if my mom could afford to get a new place that would accommodate the three of us and our dogs, Shailla and I have been trying to save up enough money to start our own life together and finally move in together, away from our parents, into a humble 1-bedroom apartment of our own. We need help to meet that goal and to be able to afford the medicine she needs. We appreciate any help you can provide and please share. Thank you.
