Just woke up to some amazing news. I have FINALLY found a plane that can take me down to Puerto Rico. Due to severely limited resources on the island, officials are asking that those with the means to fly back and forth rather than stay and use up shelter space, food, water, etc. So, Adriana Vargas Hernandez and her organization is sponsoring me to begin the mission of examining and delivering medications to those who can not access the hospitals yet, focusing our efforts first on the children. I can go every week if I have the medicines and supplies to justify it. PLEASE PLEASE can you help me? All of my medical friends, can you offer some free samples, basic medications, anything you can spare.
Below is a list of things that are most commonly needed right now:
1. Cough Medicines (liquid)
2. Asthma inhalers
3. Allergy Tablets or Liquids
4. Topical Antibiotics for cuts and scrapes
5. Diaper Rash Creams
6. Antibiotics for Diarrhea (like Cipro)
7. Antibiotics for Bronchitis (like Zmax)
8. Antibiotics for UTI (like Bactrim)
9. Non narcotic pain relievers (Tylenol, Motrin)
10. BP medications (Ace, diuretics)
11. Simple baby ASA
12. Nitro tablets
13. Eye Drops of all kinds
14. Bandages and Ace Wraps
15. small splints
Message me what you have and I will gladly pick up from you. If I can get enough supplies I will spend my Sunday in Puerto Rico examining and dispensing medications.
I know it is a day off for most of you, BUT if you can think of what you have at home or in your office, let's open up our hearts and go into our offices and grab those samples off the shelves.
If you have no medications or medical supplies, you can always look at this list and choose to run out to Walmart and purchase a few things. Even $5 worth of cough medicine will help a child breath tomorrow night. And if you do not have time for that, I will take monetary donations as well and I will go and buy medicines with that. 100% of all donations will go in directly to patients, not one penny for anything else, you have my solemn word. Absolutely 100% of every dollar you give to me will be spent buying medicine and medical supplies and I can take the picture of the person you just helped with your money. This is TRUE charity as Jesus has taught, no spins, angles, motives, politics, salaries, I just want to help. PLEASE help me help these people, our fellow Americans, our suffering friends.
