Medicinal & Horticulture Gardens

Donation protected
Effects of the Covid-19 has changed the state of the world. This pandemic has made us realize how important it is to focus on essential needs in today's time.

We are planning to build out a series of healing spaces in Atlanta. These spaces are where individuals and families can come to practice horticulture therapy as well as get a better understanding of traditional medicine through herbalism and medicinal mushrooms.

We have already partnered with a pre-existing Black owned farm in Atlanta, that we will use as our primary location. The goal would be to build out four to five sites alongside our primary location for people across the Metro-Atlanta area, to be able to benefit from this experience.

The funds raised will be used for garden design, supplies and labor as well as our volunteer initiative plus educational programming.

Our deadline for this fundraiser is March 21st, 2021. The garden sites will be installed Spring 2021.

Our executive director Chef Zu of Kings Apron feels that this project is far past important and very resourceful. We have devised this plan in order to empower and engage our community with forgotten healing traditions.

We are extremely grateful to  be able to cultivate culturally based traditional medicine in the heart of Atlanta.
