Medication for Nancy

On March 22, 2018, @ 09:00,I recieved a panicked phone call from my wife Nancy. She explained to me that the Dr's office had called and there was a Kidney Specialist waiting to see her at the PRHC in Peterborough, Ontario as soon as she could get there. She wanted me to be there ASAP to see the specialist with her and to provide moral, and emotional support. Without adue I phoned my employer who was at home taking care of her dying husband herself, he had stage 4 end stage cancer. I asked her if was to arrange for my friend who also worked for he to meet me in Cambridge, so he could finish the days deliveries and do the pre planed move the next day. She told me that was fine, I will keep Keith in the straight truck until you get things taken care of with Nancy.
So off I went, to care for my wife. Unbenounced to me, my boss took time out of caring for her dying husband, later that same day to call the company's group benefit people and immediately canceled the 100% unlimited drug coverage, and other health plan coverages that I pay 100% for on a monthly bases. I did not find this out until trying to fill a prescription on Saturday afternoon. It was confirmed that she had called up on the day my wife was admitted to hospital in Kidney Failure, when I talked to the plan administration people on Monday the 26.
On Friday the 23rd, before I knew that my benefits had been canceled, already being down because of the devastating news of my wife's horrific illness. My employer fired me while I was on caregiver leave to look after my wife while she was in hospital.
She is now withholding my pay checks illegally and we have medications to pay for to keep my wife's health from being more damaged than it is already.
I am an extremely well qualified truck driver and I am quite sure I will not have a problem getting a position with great health benefits. The problem is group health does not kick in for 90 to 120 days, and with my employer withholding my pay it is going to be difficult to pay for the laundry list of drugs that the Specialists have prescribed.
Anybody who knows us knows we never as for anything from anybody. But we are pleading for just a little help to get is through this crisis.
