Medical/Rehabilitation

On January 18, 2018 my mother, Susan Samuels had a very debilitating accident.  She slipped and fell, injuring her cervical spine. Unfortunately leaving her with incomplete paralysis from her shoulders down.   She has had two surgeries thus far, one to remove the ruptured discs in her neck with  a fusion  and another to help stabilize her neck with all the torn ligaments and pinched nerves that the neuro surgeon did their best to release, adding more blood flow to her spine.  Myself and my siblings Jonelle and Johnny have moved her to a rehabilitation center and are praying for  a better outcome than may be expected , but we refuse to give up hope on a faithful, miraculous recovery.  My mother is currently fighting with everything she has in her heart and mind to one day get back on her feet again.  Her current status is some movement in her left arm and left leg , right side of her body and both hands aren't responding just yet but we are told this is a very long recovery process, 1-2 years with such a significant injury her spine has endured.  My mother is a fighter, and a faithful one at that.  We pray with her and for her and ask all of our friends and family to please do the same. This process unfortunately comes with a significant price. We have put our family home up for sale, as her medical and personal bills are piling up fast with no end to this nightmare in sight just yet.  Our family is humbly asking for assistance from our friends and family to help our mother on this journey.  Although we're waking up everyday  hoping that this situation is only a bad nightmare , sadly it isn't and extremely real.  We want to help her with the best possible care, rehabilitation, disability mechanisms and comfort of her Mind and body as she fights the biggest fight of her life.  On behalf of myself , my sister Jonelle and my brother Johnny , we thank you in advance and will update as I can with any significant changes.
