As-Salaamu Alaykum Brothers and Sisters,

This GoFundMe has been set up to seek donations for medical aid for a well-known brother in the da’wah and apologetics community. Several years ago he was taken into emergency surgery for a severe medical issue, where orchiopexy was then done to both the left and right testicles. Since then, he has had two further surgical procedures done which have not alleviated his illness. He has been diagnosed with Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome for several years now, and currently uses several nerve medications and pain medications to live a somewhat functional life. The costs associated with his medications have been a burden on him and his family, as he is a young brother with severe pain that renders him non-functional for several days at a time.

I can personally verify and vouch for the brother’s illness and current state of affairs. I can also verify that by Allah, he is well-known and well involved in the da’wah and apologetics communities. He works with almost every major da’wah carrier, helps with organizing projects and events, debates, websites, blogs, da’wah and apologetics training, and he specializes in several literary fields that allow the Muslim community to both defend the authenticity of the Qur’an, and to provide reasonable and academic analysis of the Bible. Due to the nature and the severity of his illness, we prefer to keep his identity private. However, we are well acquainted with the brother, we have seen his medical documents, seen his prescriptions and scans, he is not a stranger to us nor to most people involved in da’wah and apologetics.

Having been seen by several specialists, an opportunity has opened for him by the will of Allah, where he can seek treatment at a facility that has been contacted and are willing to take him on as a patient. The brother is in need of funds to facilitate this treatment. Any and all help is welcomed.
