Medical Beds for Eritrea

"The enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being” – WHO, World Health Organization.

Eritrea has made remarkable progress in the health care sector and is committed to providing health care services to all its citizens. Notably, according to recent WHO reports, Eritrea’s figures are amongst the best within its region and comparably across the continent of Africa in regards to controlling malaria, reducing maternal and infant mortality, and preventing the spread of TB and HIV/AIDs.

But as we all know, hospitals and clinics in most African countries lack basic medical equipment and supplies. That is why we are committed to making sure we leave no one behind and do all we can to help Eritrea provide the same health care services we take for granted living abroad.   

The Eritrean Community in Minnesota recently partnered with a local hospital in an effort to provide medical supplies and equipment to Eritrea. We are happy to announce we have received a gracious donation of 40 hospital beds that we will be sending to clinics and hospitals across Eritrea.  The donation received includes maternity birthing beds, operating beds, and patient room beds. We hope these beds will provide comfort and assist in the well-being of the patients and convenience of the health care workers of Eritrea. 

We are asking for your help in the form of a donation to cover the expenses to ship these beds which includes; cost of shipping containers, transporting the containers from Minnesota to the port of Massawa, then delivery of the beds to hospitals in need throughout Eritrea.

We are incredibly grateful for all your support we have seen thus far, which will allow us to provide critical medical equipment and supplies needed to the people of Eritrea.

ዓወት ባህልና ኢዩ           

ክቡራትን ክቡራንን ፡ ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን፡ኣቐድም ኣቢልና ዕዙዝ ሰላምታና ነቕርበልኩም/ክን። እንሆ እንበኣርከስ፡ ንሕና ኤርትራውያን፡ ነዚ " ዓወት ባህልና ኢዩ" ዝብል ቴማ ሕዝና ቀሪብና ዘለና፡ ነቲ ክቡርን ዕዙዝን ዝኾነ ባህሊ ኤርትራውያን ተቐማጦ ሚነሶታ ፡ ምርኩስ ብምግባር ኢዩ።      

  ኮይኑ እንበኣርከስ እንሆ ኣስታት 30 ዝኸውን ዘመናዊ ዓራታውቲ ሕክምና፡ ብነጻ ስለዝረኸብና፡ ነዚ በረኸትን ጸጋን ኢዚ ድማ፡ ኣብ ጥቕሚ ህዝብና ከነውዕሎ ተበጊስና ስለ ዘለናን፡ ኣብ መዓልኡ ንምብጻሕ'ኸስ፡ ሓገዝኩም ንሓት
ት ኣለና።      

  እዚ ክንብል እንከለና ድማ፡ ነዚ ዓራታውቲ እዚ መትሓዚ ዝኸውን ሰፈር(ኮንተይነር)፡ መልኣኺኡ ዝኸውን ገንዘብን የድልየና ኣሎ። ነዚ ግብረ-ሰናይ ኢዚ ንምትግባር'ኸስ፡ "ሃገራውን ሓልዮታውን ስጉምቲ ይሓተና ኣሎ'ሞ፡ " እደይ ኢድካ" ቢልና፡ ብዝሓጸረ እዋን ክትግበር ንላቦ ኣለና።     

   እንሆ እንበኣርከስ፡ ኣዚ ንብረት እዚ፡ ንግዜኡ ኣብ ደንበ ኣዳራሽ ማሕበረሰብ ኤርትራ፡ ንጸሓይን ንዝናብን ንንፋስን ፡ኮታስ ንኹሎም ክሊማታት ተቓሊዑ ስለዘሎ፡ ብዝቐልጠፈ እዋን ናብ ሃገርና ሃገረ ኤርትራ፡ ክንሰዶ/ክንልእኾ፡ ተበጊስና ኣለና።      

  ክቡራትን ክቡራንን፡ ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን፡ ነዚ ግብረ-ሰናይ እዚ ክትገብሩ እንከለኹም፡ ምሉእ ስምኩምን፡ መጠን ወፈያኹን፡ ክትሕብሩና ንላቦ፡ መሰረት ድማ " ዕላዊ ቅብሊት ወረቐት"       ብቐጥታ ክንህበኩም   ምዃንና ክንሕብረኩም ንፈቱ።
